On this date in our family history . . . the 17th day of May . . . in the year 1521 . . . Sir Edward de Stafford is beheaded on Tower Hill in London, England as per the wishes of King Henry VIII . . . this Sir Edward is believed to be a 13th great-grandpa to Josephine Wingfield Henry nee Davis (1842-1899) . . . who is a 2nd great-grandma to the Keeper of this blog . . .
