My ancestors, they hail from . . . the redlands of Texas . . . and the marshes of Maine . . . the plantations of Georgia . . . and the courts of Spain . . . and from a hodgepodge of places . . . betwixt and between . . .
I love what you do with your pictures.I've taken a few pictures in the fall at that spot along Moose Pond, but the traffic today doesn't allow the leisure that those two ladies show ;-)You deserve that award you just received !!
How darling!!! Their expressions say it all! (Grin)
Since I have many ancestors from Bridgton, I particularly love this! My dad fished on Moose Pond many many times over the years. Thanks for posting!
Good morning, Pam . . . that is my maternal grandma, Elizabeth Marilla Henry nee Smith (1912-1932) on the left . . . and her mother, Eva May Smith nee Brackett (1874-1936) . . . and their dog, Beauty . . . Moose Pond is on our list of places to visit the next time we go to Maine! . . . we were there for two weeks in October, and that just was NOT enough time to do everything we wanted to do . . .
