My ancestors, they hail from . . . the redlands of Texas . . . and the marshes of Maine . . .
the plantations of Georgia . . . and the courts of Spain . . .
and from a hodgepodge of places . . . betwixt and between . . .
I love where you blog from Vickie! Very calm and sweet.
The "Where do YOU blog?" meme is right up my alley, I love to see where others blog from! Gotta go straighten my space so I can participate! Thanks for sharing this with us!
Thank y'all for stopping by! This is actually just a little corner of my living room . . . the covered table is a century old . . . the brown "wall" with the Texas books on top is the back of a bookshelf (also full of books . . . Texan . . . war between the states . . . medieval times) . . . the "To My Sweetheart" postcard was actually mailed to my dear Hubbie by me from Lynn, Massachusetts i 1980 . . . the items hanging from the gold chatelaine include a cross, heart and baby ring (gifts to me when I was born . . . almost six decades ago) . . . I found that neat lamp at Tuesday Morning . . . the green coffee cup and saucer came from an antique shop in Salado, Texas . . . the "Forget Me Not" hand is something I made back in the 1980s . . . the morning glories on the desktop of my computer are from my front yard . . . P.S. You did notice that I am showing very little of the room where I blog?!? Gotta do some more work before it's "photo-ready" . . .
Lovely! No lace here, though this reminded me I have Grandmother-tatted treasures to photograph for TCT. Mine is full of folders, papers, a few tchotchkes, and usually a sleeping cat. :) Ah, well, we can dream, can't we? LOL

Oooh, Vickie! What a lovely place! I'm jealous!
Where I blog is nowhere as lovely as your desk space - I'd be embarrassed to show it!
