Jerusha is a daughter of Timothy Barker and Jerusha Lakin Hobbs . . . on the 23rd day of December in the year 1857,at the age of 16, she became the bride of Atwood F. Smith in Biddeford, York County, Maine . . . they had at least two children who died before 1865, and then a 3rd child born in 1866, Thomas Warren Alonzo Smith (1866-1920), who is the father of Elizabeth . . .

My immigrant Barker was Thomas. He was born September 1, 1806, at St. Albans, Hertfordshire, England. He married Elizabeth Thompson in 1825 and on 28 Jul 1869 they sailed from Liverpool on ship "Colorado" and arrived at New York Harbor on August 10. From there they went to Idaho. Who knows, maybe we hook up somewhere.
